The Office of the Municipal Health Officer (MHO) is responsible for ensuring the overall health and well-being of the municipality’s residents. Its main functions include implementing public health programs, managing disease prevention and control initiatives, and promoting sanitation and environmental health. The MHO also provides medical services, conducts health assessments, and coordinates health education and awareness campaigns. Additionally, the office monitors the implementation of health policies, responds to health emergencies, and collaborates with other agencies to improve healthcare access and quality within the community.
