The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) is responsible for managing disaster preparedness, response, and recovery within the municipality. Its main functions include creating and implementing disaster risk reduction and management plans, conducting risk assessments, and organizing training and simulation exercises for emergency response teams. The MDRRMO also coordinates relief efforts, ensures efficient resource allocation during disasters, and raises public awareness on disaster resilience. Additionally, it works to reduce the impacts of both natural and man-made hazards, safeguarding the community’s safety and well-being through proactive disaster management initiatives.
